Drama and Theatre Studies A Level at Aldersley High School
Empowering our students in Sixth Form to develop themselves in readiness for higher education, and ultimately, Britain’s future workforce is our key remit. Our students are seen as adults within the school, and with this have the responsibility to act accordingly sets us apart from some other educational establishments. We encourage our students to be punctual and develop their communication, time management and organizational skills. All essential life skills.
Our students have the opportunity to enhance their work experience profiles within school and outside in a variety of business settings. Students also have the opportunity to complete additional qualifications such as the Community Volunteering Qualification and Extended Project Qualification which differentiates them from other Post 18 leavers.
All students are encouraged to aim high which has been beneficial to them when applying for Russell Group universities. We offer a tailored programme to support students from Year 12 until leaving for university or employment. Our Sixth form students have chosen to stay with us as they know the support they will receive from the strong pastoral and academic team ensures a quality provision for Level 3 courses.
