Performing and Production Arts UAL Diploma Level 2 at Bradford College

Course description

Completion of this course leads to the Level 2/Diploma in Performing and Production Arts UAL.

The Level 2 Diploma courses will provide you with a broad introduction to Production Arts and develop the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to further study and training for a range of Production Art subjects such as, lighting design, prop design, stage management and directing.

Over the course you will be introduced to a range of activities essential to support the delivery of performances in a variety of contexts.

 

 

 

 

Course content

You will have the opportunity to research the history and context of Production Arts and its value in informing practice.

There is also an opportunity to take greater responsibility in the management of an assignment of personal interest via the final major project and prepare for progression within a chosen discipline and be involved in the production of a staged piece o performance to an audience.

On successful completion of the course at Level 2 Diploma, you will be in a position to progress to an appropriate course at Level 3. Alternatively, you may progress directly into employment in the creative industries.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at a minimum of Grade D including English and Mathematics and a portfolio of relevant work.

You must be aged 16+.
