Entry requirements

If you are currently studying biology at school and have an enquiring mind and an interest in how the biological world around you functions, this is the course for you. To study AS/A Level Biology A, you should have passed all your Science GCSE’s and preferably gained a B or above in GCSE Biology.

Assessment

AS Level: Two synoptic exam papers (both 1.5h)A Level: Three synoptic exam papers (two of 2.25h, one of 1.5h),plus practical endorsement (non-exam assessment)
