This course combines Plumbing Theory and Practice at Level 1.

Course content

This course combines Plumbing Theory and Practice at Level 1.  Subjects taught and assessed include: hot and cold water, basic plumbing principles and processes, effective working relationships.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 3 GCSE's at Grade D including English, Maths and Science.

Assessment

Students will be assessed through multi-choice exams and workshop portfolio.

This course may also attract additional costs, for example, kit, uniform or books, that all students will be required to pay.

Future opportunities

Students who successfully complete the course and can gain employment or an apprenticeship in the Plumbing Industry or progress to level 2 full time diploma in plumbing
