Further Education Gateway Pathways Level 1 at Grantham College

Course description

This course will provide you with an excellent training programme at Entry Level, Level 1 or a Level 2 programme that is best suited for your needs. It will also allow you to progression at a level that suits you within a vocational course, apprenticeship or employment. 

You will carry out study within college 3/4 days per week; you will study your main programme, plus functional skills English and Maths. Plus undertake an element of work experience.

  • A Entry/level 1/Level 2 Certificate in Progression
  • Work Experience
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths  
  • ESOL lessons if required

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements to enrol onto this course.

Assessment

You will be continuously assessed through assignments, projects, presentations, activities and work placements.

Financial information

Full Time Further Education courses are free for those who are under 19 on 31 August of the year they start their course.  Exam resit fees may apply if and when applicable.
