Course description

The course will give you the opportunity to learn a range of photographic skills to develop your creative potential and express your thoughts, feelings and ideas through the medium of a photographic image.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 2 B grades and 3 C grades at GCSE including English.

A least a Grade C at GCSE in Art or Photography or a Distinction in BTEC Art & Design.

Outstanding students without these subjects but with a good portfolio of photographic work and a background in subjects such as Graphic Communication and Media Studies may be considered. Please contact the college for further details.

Financial information

There are no tuition fees.

Students from low income families or in receipt of means tested benefits may qualify for bursary support. Please contact the college for further details.

We undertake at least 1 gallery visit per year that require a student payment of approximately £15-£25 depending on location. Students will also be required to provide sketchbooks for coursework presentation and may be asked to contribute towards printing costs.
