AS/A2 History at St John's Catholic School & Sixth Form College - A Catholic Academy
This course will appeal to those students who:
- Are interested in history
- Who want to develop their analytical and research skills
- Who wish to pursue careers in areas such as education, law, journalism and banking
- Who wish to develop leadership skills
On this course you will have the opportunity to study aspects of both British and European History. You will explore historical themes and concepts and you will learn how to think and write from a historical perspective.
Whilst it is preferable for you to have studied GCSE History, it is possible to take this course if you have good GCSE grades in literary based subjects. It is expected that students will have a Grade B or above in English Language.
