Psychology at Rushcliffe School
We follow the AQA (A) specification, studying topics such as memory, stress, abnormality and developmental and social psychology at AS and relationships, aggression, sleep, depression and addiction at A2. Students study four modules, two assessed each June, by external examination. Students are assessed by structured questions and mini-essays at AS and mainly essays at A2.
We consistently achieve results well above the national average and many students have gone on to study psychology at university.
Current students describe the course as "fascinating - my favourite subject"
