Art & Design UAL Diploma Level 3 at Epping Forest College
This course is designed to help students find their direction within the specialist areas of Art, Craft and Design. Students will experience a wide range of learning activities which will enable personal development and the acquisition of practical, creative and analytical skills.This course will be valuable and relevant should they go directly into employment or University.
You will study units including:
- generating fine art ideas
- media techniques and technology
- experimental imagery in photography
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at A*–C including English Language OR Merit or Distinction at an appropriate Level 2 Diploma including English Language at grade A*–C.
Continuous assessment of all units with internal and external moderation.
Materials will be discussed at the interview.
There are lots of different options to continue your studies after level 3 qualifications. These include specialised vocational degrees , Honours Degrees (usually 3 year courses, although they may include a sandwich year on work placement).
It is very important to find out about all of your options after you have completed your course. Some careers will require specific qualifications and training for you to work in the sector, whereas other jobs and careers do not have a set training route.
You may also choose to apply for an Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) or Higher Apprenticeships (Level 4/Foundation Degree). You then complete ONE application form, which you can use to apply for any Apprenticeship.
