BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts at Bridgewater High School
What will I study?
This course is a 120 credit and 720 guided learning hour (GLH) qualification that consists of 3 mandatory units plus optional units that provide for a combined total of 120 credits.
This course is the equivalent of 2 A levels.
Unit 1: Performance Workshop (10 credits)
Unit 3: Performing Arts Business (10 credits)
Unit 7: Performing to an Audience (10 credits)
Optional units (Nine 10 credit units chosen by BTEC Co-ordinator)

How will I be assessed?
12 units assessed on Actors Log, rehearsals, presentations, performances and evaluations (PASS, MERIT, DISTINCTION).
5 GCSE’s A* - C including GCSE in at least one of the subject areas (Drama, Dance, Music) and/or BTEC Level 2 First Diploma.
