Wall and Floor Tiling Apprenticeship Level 2 at Moulton College

Course description

Our Intermediate Apprenticeship will be suitable if you are working as a Wall and Floor tiler, working on a construction site or in commercial or domestic premises using coloured and textured tiles to decorate the inside of buildings (i.e. kitchens, bathrooms). It will also be suitable if you are working on large fl oor areas such as factories, shopping centres and airports.

You will develop practical skills and knowledge that will support your career development through practical projects including preparing di erent backgrounds to receive tiling, taking into account focal points such as doors and windows. The NVQ will assess the knowledge and competence required to perform your job role and will be assessed in the workplace with the support of your work-based assessor and employer.

Entry requirements

To complete your apprenticeship, you will also need to achieve English and maths, if you haven’t already achieved a C or above at GCSE. You will also complete Employment Rights and Responsibility and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills which will support you in your chosen career.
