BTEC First Diploma in Health & Social Care - Level 2 at The Parker E-act Academy

The course is divided into six modules, and provides a thorough introduction for those who wish to seek a career as a carer. The modules include Health & Safety, the values and principles of caring, the differing needs of clients from childhood to old age, and there will also be opportunities to gain practical experience through two work placements (one with children, and one with the elderly). Skills Qualifications will also be studied.
You should have achieved four GCSEs at Grade D or above, one of which must be English.
If you achieve a merit or distinction Grade you may decide to seek employment as Care Assistant with training (NVQ Level 2 in Care), or further your studies and progress to the BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies CACHE Level 3 in Child Care & Education.
