BTEC Level3 Diploma in Business and Law at The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls

Course description

The aim of the course is to provide a solid foundation for learners to progress into Higher Education or employment in a range of business or legal careers. Studying a wide range of business and law topics, you will gain a broad knowledge of how businesses work and the English Legal System.

Assessment is continuous and students will complete a portfolio of assignments to demonstrate that all aspects of the course have been completed to a satisfactory standard. The two-year full award consists of 4 compulsory units, 4 Law units and 4 optional units. The qualification is the equivalent of 2 A levels (or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma), and thus provides a direct route into Higher Education.

Either 4 GCSE's at C or above or a BTEC First Diploma (at "Merit" level), preferably in a business related subject
