German (AS and A Level) at Morecambe Community High School

Course description

The Sixth Form course continues to build on the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, which are tested through a range of tasks, mostly in the target language. The course book used is “Zeitgeist”. Extra listening materials are provided for exam practice. Brennpunkt also has its own Internet web-site containing ideas, help and advice. There are ancillary materials from a variety of sources including “Authentik”, a compilation of German and international news from the previous month. We also make use of the internet, both for research, topics of interest and news items.
