Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 2 and 3 at Skegness College of Vocational Training Limited

Course description

These courses have been designed for work-based learners. The course develops both practical and knowledge required to work in the professional businesses. You must have a work placement and attend college one day per week, minimum 30 hours per week

Course content

You will need to upgrade your English, Maths and ICT if you have not achieved GCSE grade C or above in the last 5 years
At Level 2 your course may include:

  • Improve own performance
  • Work in a business environment
  • Communicate in a business environment
  • Use electronic message systems
  • Use a diary system
  • Maintain stationery
  • Employment rights and responsibilities

At Level 3 your course may include:

  • Manage own performance
  • Solve business problems
  • Use a diary system
  • Develop a presentation
  • Produce business documents
  • Contribute to innovation and change

Future opportunities

At level 2 you will be able to become a receptionist or office junior or progress onto a level 3 full time course or an apprenticeship. At level 3 you will be able to become an administrator, office supervisor, or progress onto a level 4 course or into management or AAT.
