Law A Level at The Marches School and Technology College
This course is designed to enable you to:
Have an understanding of the structure, personnel and functions of the English
Analyse and solve problems by applying legal rules.
Develop the ability to communicate legal arguments and conclusions clearly
Have an understanding of the Criminal Law through an in-depth study of the

Sixth Form have a minimum of 5 GCSEs

It is perfectly acceptable to apply to study
a subject that you did not choose at GCSE.
You will be invited to attend a short,
informal interview with the Head of Sixth
Form to discuss your application and talk
through your options. All places offered will
be conditional until you have received your
GCSE results in August and enrolment will
take place on GCSE Results Day.
There will be various ‘Road to Sixth
Form’ events and activities taking place
throughout the year, to ensure a smooth
transition into post-16 study and to
provide you with all the information you
require to make fully informed decisions.
