Diploma in Sport - Level 2 at South Thames College
This course will help develop your understanding of sports and fitness and prepare you for the next level of study. You'll also gain skills that could improve your job prospects.
Although the course is still being finalised, and is subject to validation, the units you'll be studying are likely to be:
- Sports performance
- Anatomy and physiology for sports
- Training for personal fitness
- Leading sports activities.
To be confirmed but will probably be three GCSEs grades A*-D in relevant subjects or a related Level 1 qualification.
You'll be assessed through exams, practical performance and your portfolio of work.
If you complete the course successfully you should be able to progress onto the Level 3 course.
You'll need good quality trainers and fitness gear to complete your practical work.
