Health & Social Care - BTEC Level 3 Certificate/Extended Certificate at Bexleyheath Academy
Equivalent of 1 A-level at the end of year 13 or an AS at the end of year 12.
This course allows students to develop a wide range of knowledge in different areas, as well as gaining valuable vocational experience to allow the development of key skills, such as communication and first aid.
This course encourages students to bridge the gap between the classroom and workplace, so that they are prepared for both higher education and employment.
Things you are required to do throughout the course:
- External reading around subjects covered in class
- Working on coursework assignment tasks to meet unit deadlines
- Following feedback from teachers to improve work to be submitted for each unit
- Work in groups to plan activities for different client groups throughout the course
