Health and Social Care Level 2 at Woking College

Course description

If you have an interest in health, early years care, education and social care, then this course is perfect for you. Working with and helping a variety of people is an extremely rewarding career and as part of the course you will gain insight into numerous roles that you may want as a career. During the course you will have placements in a number of care settings, to get a full understanding of health care provision whilst practicing your skills and knowledge gained.

Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate

  • Unit 1: Communication in Health & Social Care
  • Unit 4: Ensureing Safe Environments in Health & Social Care
  • Unit 9: Creative and Theraputic Activities in Health & Social Care
  • Unit 11: Impact of Diet on Health

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for students who have not attained five A*- C grades (or equivalent 4+)

Assessment

Coursework = 100%

Future opportunities

Passing this course with a Merit or higher will fully prepare students for study at Level 3 or entry level Health & Social Care.
