Grade 6 in GCSE Spanish

Grade 6 in GCSE English Language 



Paper 1 (50%)

Written Exam: 2h 30min (100 marks)

Listening, reading, writing

Translation into English and the target language

Paper 2 (20%)

Written Exam: 2h (80 marks)

Essay and grammar

Questions on set text and film

Paper 3 (30%)

Spoken Exam: 21-23 minutes (60 marks)

Discussion of a sub-theme, based on a stimulus card

Presentation and discussion of an individual research project

Special Features

To assist in the development of the spoken language we conduct lessons almost exclusively in Spanish and encourage students to get involved with language clubs and lesson support in the lower school.

During year 12 we encourage students to do a work experience placement in either Spain or a Spainish-speaking country.
