AS Unit 1 Investigation of 2D visual language.

  • Unit 7 Application and Development of 2D Visual Language.
  • Unit 8 Application and Development of 3D Visual Language.
  • Unit 9 Working to Self Identified Briefs.

    This is a very comprehensive Art and Design course that investigates and develops skills in a wide range of media and processes both in 2D and 3D. The world of work and the professional artist and designer is closely integrated within this course and work placements, vistiting artists, and workshopopportunities often feature. Life drawing classes are offered to all students on this course.

  • Entry requirements

    If you achieve at least 5 C grades or above or the equivalent youcould consider Advanced Level courses.

    However, for the majority of Level 3 subjects B grades at GCSEare required. Specific grade requrements for subjects are available from staff and will be discussed at interview .
