Vehicle Maintenance Repair (Auto Electrics) Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at Darlington College

Course description

If you are interested in a career within the automotive industry and would like to specialise in vehicle maintenance repair, whilst gaining experience through hands on involvement within a garage environment (work based), then this is the Apprenticeship for you. Completing this course could lead to an advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs grades D-E including GCSE maths and English or an appropriate level 1 qualification and a satisfactory school report. We will request a school or college report and you will attend an interview at the college.

Assessment

This is a vocational course which requires you to demonstrate the necessary skills when carrying out practical assessments in your workplace. You will need to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding via assignment work and online tests. Evidence will be stored in a portfolio, which will be developed during the programme.

Future opportunities

You can progress on to the Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3.
