Course description

BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Science (Forensic Science) :

Pupils follow the BTEC Specification, which is the equivalent of one A2 level. Three teachers take 2 lessons each per week. 60 credits (360 hours) will be covered.

All pupils will conduct the three common units in year 12.

At the end of Year 12 pupils will be accredited with the BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Applied Science (Forensic Science). This is the equivalent of 1 AS Level. A total of 30 credits (180 hours) will be covered.

In Year 13 the pupils will conduct three more units.

Assessment

This course is made up of six unit of coursework; each unit is worth 10 credits. A total of 60 credits for the course.
