Creative Media Production (Gaming Development) BTEC Level 390-Credit Diploma at Guildford College

Course description

This one year course focuses on digital graphics for interactive media, 3D animation, computer game engines and computer game story development. 

On successful completion of this course, you can progress onto the Extended Diploma.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at A-C in academic subjects including Maths and English, relevant Level 2 BTEC Diploma at merit or above with Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 or above.

 

Assessment

Written assignments, presentations and practical work.

Future opportunities

On successful completion of this course, you can progress on to study the Extended Diploma.

On completion of the full Extended Diploma, you could move on to degrees in computer games and visual effects, game design and production, animation or multimedia design. Surrey and the south east have a high concentration of games development companies.
