Applied Science Diploma Level 2 at City of Bristol College

Course description

In the first part of the course you will study basic science skills. In the second part of the course you will develop your skills in practical application of science and also study specialist units. If you have not already gained at least a grade C at GCSE in maths and English Language you will be required to study these alongside the Applied Science course. You must successfully complete the first year of the course in order to progress onto the second year.

Part 2
- Applications of chemistry, biology and physics
- Scientific investigation
- Applications of health science
- Crime scene investigation

Entry requirements

- To be 16-18 years old
- 4 GCSEs at grade D or above including maths, English and science
- Good academic reference
- Good personal organisation
- Good communication skills
