Child Care Level 2 Apprenticeship at County Durham Council

Course description

Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy based within the Education Development – Early Years Development Team – Early Years.

The role of the Childcare Apprentice Duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing high quality care and education in line with Early Years Foundation 
Stage framework for children in the Centre
• To assist in supporting parents and families
To assist on planning adult and child led activities
To work as part of the Nursery team and participate in appropriate 
professional development.
To contribute to the organisation and administration of the Nursery childcare 
provision.

Entry requirements

Required Qualifications: GCSE English Language/English Literature at Grades
A*-C or equiavalent and a willingness to work towards a recognised qualification in Early Years and Child Care.
