What does the course involve?

Visits to a pre school nursery or nursery school
Practical and discussion work

Some areas studied will include:

Birth and post-natal care

Assessment

Assessment:

The scheme of assessment will comprise -

Written paper of 2 hours 50%
Coursework
a) Resource Tasks (2 - 4) 20%
b) Individual Task (study of child) 30%


The study will be undertaken over an extended period starting after Easter in Year 10.

Practical work will diffuse throughout the course, but particularly in coursework tasks
