Economics at The Cooper School

Course description

This qualification aims to develop an interest and enthusiasm for Economics and Business as well as an appreciation of the contribution of economics and an understanding of the wider economic and social environment.

Students will develop an understanding of a range of Economic concepts and an ability to use these in a variety of contexts. Students will develop an enquiring, critical and thoughtful approach to the study of Economics and an ability to think critically by selecting Economic data and using it appropriately. This qualification combines Business with the wider Economic environment and will introduce students to International Business.

GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C and above
