Computing and Systems Development at Empire College London
The HND in Computing will offer a qualification that provides access to university, careers in computing and higher level courses. Current trends towards widespread communication, e-business and a proliferation of electronic devices in our society indicate the need for students to develop a detailed range of computing skills and techniques. The course will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of students in the field of computing, that are essential for successful performance in the modern workplace.
The HND programme is an equivalent to a 2nd year of a UK University Degree.
This course leads to a recognised qualification which is accepted by several universities for direct entry into the final year of a Degree program.

Applicants must be aged 18 and should have GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above or equivalent. They also must hold A levels or other level 3 qualifications, e.g. BTEC National Diploma. Applications from mature students may be accepted where relevant work experience is being undertaken, subject to an initial assessment.
