Music BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma at Queen Mary's College

Course description

The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Music (equivalent to 1 A Level) is a practical and academic musical course that requires a 2 year commitment from students. You should be skilled in playing at least one instrument and you need to have a very keen interest in popular music. The course gives you the opportunity to study three or four other courses alongside. You will study a broad range of music skills and techniques and explore the work of a range of contemporary music practitioners. Students will learn by completing projects based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands that would be faced by a modern musician.
