Advice and Guidance L3 NVQ Certificate at Bishop Auckland College

Course description

This qualification has been designed to reflect the work of practitioners who undertake activities at Level 3 working directly with clients, disseminating information, advice, and some level of guidance. Candidates will be working with information that is often interpreted by others, usually working within some clear guidelines. The course is a customised, flexible course which has start dates throughout the year and candidates can work at their own pace.

Course content

The course will consist of:
Assignments and projects;
Professional discussion;
Skills development and practice;
Assessor observations in the workplace;

Future opportunities

The course will develop:
Knowledge, understanding and application of legislative procedures in a guidance setting;
Skills to provide advice and guidance in a range of settings;
Self assessment of skills and evaluation of own contribution to advice and guidance service;
