The BTEC Extended Certificate in Music involves students completing 4 units.

Music Performance Session Styles
Solo Performance
Music Software Skills
Music Project

Entry requirements

This BTEC is equivalent in size to 1 A Level. If you want to study this qualification along with A Levels you must meet the criteria for studying A Levels and achieve at least a B grade or equivalent in Music if you have studied it.

If you wish to study this BTEC along with 2 more BTECs you need to meet the BTEC entry requirements and achieve at least a B grade or equivalent in Music if you have studied it.

Employers and higher education value BTEC Extended Certificates. A number of students have used BTEC qualifications to access university courses.
