A-level Design and Technology: Product Design (3-D Design) helps students take a broad view of design and technology, develop their capacity to design and make products and appreciate the complex relations between design, materials, manufacture and marketing

Future Opportunities – where might this lead you?
 
GCSE Product Design could take you into a number of exciting career paths. Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Automotive Design. But what about computer generated cartoons? Or maybe the Computer Aided Design and manufacture industry appeals to you more? This course could take you into architecture, teaching, manufacturing, advertising or a range of different types of engineering.
 
Product Design goes well with a range of other subjects. If you want a career in designing you might consider Art & Design, Business Studies, Computing or Maths as companion A Levels. If you would like a career in Engineering you might consider Maths, Science or even triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
