Course description

This course is a high quality, industry recognised award and is for students wishing to gain detailed knowledge in a variety of areas of the travel and tourism industry. This will develop skills, knowledge and understanding to create a sound background to either working in travel and tourism or progressing on to Higher Education. It is equivalent to two  A Level's

Future opportunities

This short course offers a specialist qualification for entering employment in travel and tourism or progressing onto further education such as BTEC Higher Nationals in Travel and Tourism or related degree programmes. You could also go on to study a relevant NVQ vocational qualification, which could be work-based. With further training, you could go into a job related to travel and tourism such as a Travel Agent or a Cabin Crew Assistant. The course provides a work related programme of study so you could go straight into a job as it helps you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers are looking for, especially in the creative industries.
