This single course offers an opportunity to learn about a range of health and social care topics. It is a good supplement to a range of science courses for students interested in a professional career in care. The care focus of this course is on caring for adults.

Assessment

This course is assessed through 100% Coursework.

There are no written examinations.

The course is made up of six pieces of Coursework:- • Communication • Diversity and equality • Health and safety • Anatomy and physiology • Nutrition • Caring for older people

Future opportunities

Students have been taking this course with Biology or Forensic science with the intention of applying for nursing or caring training/university courses.
