Course content

We offer two pathways for Health and Social Care students. You will study 13 units over two years. Seven in year 1 and six in year 2 with a work placement day each week to complete your 100 hours of work placement. Work placements are chosen by you with support and guidance from our World of Work team, this gives you the option to choose one placement for the year or to give yourself a variety of work experience in different settings. All students will be required to complete a DBS police check before you begin your placement. Your work placement experience can give you a valuable edge over others when applying for university courses.
