Course description

This course is designed for enthusiastic people that want to learn and develop their knowledge and skills to enable them to progress into their chosen career within the Hospitality industry.

Course content

There are 3 mandatory modules:
- The Hospitality Industry
- Principles of supervising customer service performance in hospitality industry
- Providing customer service in hospitality

There are 4 additional modules including:
- Financial control in hospitality
- Food and drinks service
- Contemporary world food
- Planning and managing a hospitality event
- Personal and professional development
- Work related project
- Personal selling and promotional skills

Entry requirements

- 4 A to C grade GCSEs
- Excellent record of attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Commitment, enthusiasm and the motivation to succeed
- To complete an initial online assessment
