Advanced Apprenticeship in Site Joinery at Rotherham College
Build your career in construction and learn a skilled trade with our hands-on practical learning that will prepare you for the construction industry.
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, our Construction department hosts first-class facilities, providing you with the perfect foundations to construct a successful career. Whether it’s brickwork, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, plastering or plumbing, our industry experienced tutors will support you in moving up the career ladder, no matter what level you start at.
The College has strong links with employers such as Willmott Dixon, and our tools are state of the art, thanks to generous donations from Stanley Black and Decker. Previous students have taken part in the HOPE Strategy project; where Rotherham College teamed up with Rotherham Borough Council and charity Action Housing to help renovate derelict houses into fully functioning, modern homes for vulnerable people. There are fantastic opportunities to showcase your skills at competitions such as SkillBuild, as well as the possibility for your work to be entered for the City and Guilds Gold Awards.
