# A Level Further Mathematics at Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School

## Course description

AS Further Pure Mathematics unit FP1 plus two other units (excluding C1–C4).

Students who are awarded certificates in both A2-level Maths and AS Further Mathematics must use unit results from nine different teaching modules. typically students study FP1, D1 and M2 or FP1, D1, D2 or FP1, D1 and S2.

A2 Further Pure Mathematics units FP1, FP2, FP3 and a further three Applications units (excluding C1–C4) to make a total of six units; or FP1, either FP2 or FP3 and a further four Applications units (excluding C1–C4) to make a total of six units. Students whoare awarded certificates in both A2-level Maths and A2 Further Maths must use unit results from 12different teaching modules. typically students study FP1, FP2, FP3, D1, D2, M2 or FP1, FP2, D1, D2, S2 and M2.
