Course description

Do you want to work for yourself? Do you have a really good idea that could make you a fortune? Do you have what it takes to be the next entrepreneur on Dragons’ Den? This course is for you.

Course content

You will be able to investigate opportunities and prepare to start up your own business, working on real life business challenges.

On the programme you will develop a viable business idea, develop your vision, research the market, financial modelling, create a full business plan, and pitch to investors. You will learn more about yourself, and how to develop an entrepreneurial mind-set. You will also interact with both national and local entrepreneurs, working on a range of business challenges, both within teams and as individuals.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs with the following grades: English 3 and maths at 2 or above, and 2 other GCSEs grade 3 or above.

Assessment

You will be assessed with assignments, based on realistic workplace situations.

Future opportunities

ABC Diploma in Fashion Retail level 3, Extended Diploma in Business level 3, Subsidiary Diploma in Business level 3.

Employment through an Apprenticeship with continuous support from a mentor, to help get your business idea off the ground.
