Business and Administration - Level 2 NVQ at Hereward College

Course content

For the full certificate you will complete a minimum of five units of work. You will develop practical administration skills to build evidence for your portfolio. You will have work experience each week throughout the course in a busy office environment which will develop your administration, organisation and communication skills. You will experience a wide range of administration tasks which include post, telephone, reception/dealing with visitors, photocopying, data handling, researching information, handling health and safety issues etc. If you are in employment your evidence will come from your normal workplace activities.

Entry requirements

An NVQ at Level 1 or a range of GCSEs grades D-G. Literacy skills at Level 1 will also be needed. It would also be suitable for mature students who have some previous work experience or other skills and who need a formal qualification.

Course work and/or exam or controlled tests

Future opportunities

You could progress to level 3 qualifications or gain employment in an administration role.
