BTEC Level 3 Art and Design at Toot Hill School

Course description

Students will learn a range of new exciting techniques as well as focusing on specialist work-related briefs to enable them to extend their knowledge and practical skills. Students will explore direct observational drawings as well as learning about working with new materials and concepts of ideas for industry. Students will be encouraged to pursue their own development to produce unique final designs for the purpose of the brief. Students will organise the end of year Summer Art Exhibition for all Art, Textiles and Photography students which goes towards their portfolio of work.

Entry requirements

BTEC-Pass level or GCSE Level-D or above.
