Accounting AAT Diploma Level 3 at Buxton & Leek College

Course description

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is the intermediate level of the AAT Accounting Qualification. It offers technical training in accounting and its main purpose is to provide students with specialist knowledge and skills to gain employment in an accounting role and / or the opportunity to progress to a further qualification in accountancy or a related field.

At this intermediate level, you’ll master more complex financial processes, including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, reports and returns and professional ethics.

The course is suitable for students who work in a financial environment and want to improve their knowledge and understanding of accounting.

Course content

The AAT Accounting Qualification proves to future employers that you have accountancy expertise and skills to turn theory in to practice. It is recognised throughout the world as a sign of your talent and effectiveness. All our tutors are fully qualified accountants with industry experience and fully qualified teachers.

Entry requirements

AAT Level 2 or a comprehensive knowledge of Double Entry Bookkeeping and Basic Costing.

Assessment

You’ll be assessed through computer based exams and assessments.

Future opportunities

After completion of this qualification you could progress onto the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
