Barbering Level 3 Diploma at Heart of Worcestershire College

Course description

Do you have a passion for cutting hair? Would you like to get real life experience of working in a salon? Do you have strong customer service skills? This course will provide you with the final step you need before progressing into employment in Barbering. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, applying your newly learned hair design and cutting techniques to suit their needs. You will also gain essential knowledge for running and maintaining a salon as you progress through the course.

Entry requirements

To join this course you must have a relevant Level 2 qualification, successful interview and you will also be required to complete a practical skills test. Entry will be subject to a satisfactory reference.


You will be through a mixture of practical sessions, written assessments, practical observation, presentations and practical activities.

Future opportunities

Once you have successfully completed this course you can continue into employment at a barbering salon or hairdressing salon that provides barbering services.
