Level 2 Diploma in Sport FT at Chesterfield College

Course description

You will study a range of mandatory and optional units which are coordinated to enable exit points and achievement. The units may include subjects such as:

  • Participating in Sport
  • Sports Coaching
  • Plan, Deliver and Evaluate Coaching
  • Plan and Run an Event
  • Develop Skills and Tactics
  • Lifestyle of a Performer
  • Sports Volunteering

Entry requirements

The level 2 NCFE programme is designed for people who wish to work in sport and wish to gain a level 2 Diploma. 4 GCSEs at grade D or above with one being in either English language or maths or a relevant Level 1 qualification. The full programme will take one academic year and the study programme will contain English and/or maths qualifications (GCSE in the subject you achieved a D in).
