Software Development Apprenticeship - Level 3 at Baltic Training

Course description

With the help of employers, an apprenticeship offers a more practical and more effective approach to learning. If you’re ready to learn, earn, and join the fastest growing sector in today’s economy, become a digital apprentice with Baltic Training.

A wise man once said, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Apprenticeships are built around this principle. Not only do apprentices learn faster and earn money at the same time, they gain invaluable workplace experience.

Our Software Development apprenticeships are for you if you are interested in one of the following roles:

  • Software Engineer
  • Software Developer
  • Developer
  • Programmer
  • Coder

Research shows that apprentices can earn almost £4,000 more than graduates in their first job. If you’re looking to earn more and learn more; you’re looking for an apprenticeship.

An apprenticeship is not school or college. An apprenticeship is a full time career opportunity while training and gaining qualifications in your chosen field. We are looking for outgoing and motivated individuals ready for the challenge of the real world, looking to kick start their careers as an IT Apprentice.

Listed below are the qualifications that you will gain on completion of your IT apprenticeship:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Software Development
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT)

When we’re looking for our apprentices, we understand that experience isn’t everything. But the following skills make all of the difference.

  • Good communication skills
  • A strong passion for IT
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • Confident
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Good appearance and personal presentation
  • Hardworking and motivated
  • Willingness to learn
  • Eager to learn on the job
  • Enthusiasm and Initiative

Our Apprenticeship Training will be delivered via webinar and, sometimes, in a variety of locations local to our apprentices, this will be confirmed prior to any training.
