Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing) Level 3 Diploma at Chichester College

Course description

The course is made up of a vocational course and a technical certificate and offers you the chance to develop your practical skills in a range of mechanical manufacturing engineering areas.

Course content

You will study a various range of practical & theory based subjects.
If you are aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme consisting of
your main qualification, English and maths, enterprise and enrichment.
 
The course is made up of practical and theory sessions.

 

Entry requirements

An aptitude test may be carried out at time of interview. GCSE’s of D & above in Maths, Science & English would be required. Ideally, you will have progressed from the Level 2 Engineering course, however Level 1 students may be considered.

Assessment

Students are assessed through practical observations and online exams.

This course can lead to a further apprenticeship and full time
employment.

Further information

The college is fully equipped with the latest machines and equipment to
meet and exceed the requirements of the course.
 
Students are required to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE), which must include steel toe capped boots and full overalls.
