Digital Marketing Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship at Hertford Regional College

Course description

With the huge popularity of social media, online shopping, banking and gaming and the shift from newspapers, TV and radio moving to online streaming; companies have to constantly keep up with these trends.

Digital Marketing is one of the fastest growing industries, and people with these skills are in hot demand both by agencies and client-side; by public sector orgainisations and commercial properties. 

Course content

With this apprenticeship, the nature of the work will depend on your employer. You could be involved in:-

  • planning and executing a digital marketing strategy
  • social media and content marketing
  • campaign analysis
  • search engine marketing
  • display advertising
  • video production
  • website maintenance and many others.

Following an initial assesment of past and current skills, the apprenticeship will inculde a recognised qualification in Digital Marketing with English, Maths  and ICT qualifications, if required.

Delivery of the apprenticeship will be through blended learning; teaching will be flexible and tailored including a day release at College for 14 weeks. In the workplace, the apprentice will be allocated an assesor to help them through the programme, who will carry out the necessary assesments through regular visits.

 

Entry requirements

You will need to have a contract of employment for a minimum of 30 hours per week, to include time at college for the duration of the apprenticeship. You will be paid at least the national minimum wage for apprenticeships.

You will need good communication and maths skills and depending on your role, you may need an analytical approach. Grade A-C in GCSE English and Maths is desired.

Completing this apprenticeship will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge needed for a professional career within the exciting field of Digital Marketing with its endless specialisms. Alternatively it will provide a solid, sought after foundation for those that want to pursue a broader marketing or business career.

      C2/C3 from Harlow                       approx 30 minutes
      310/311 from Waltham Cross      approx 17 minutes
      310/311 from Hertford                  approx 40 minutes

      Trains: The National Express East Anglia Service provides services from Broxbourne and Cheshunt stations to London Liverpool Street, Tottenham Hale, Waltham Cross, Enfield Lock, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted. 

      Example journey times:
      London Liverpool Street – Cheshunt – 20 minutes
      Stansted Mountfitchet – Broxbourne – 24 minutes

      Parking: There are limited car parking spaces on site.
