Music Performance Level 3 Diploma at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
This course is an advanced specialist workrelated programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the music sector. Our music courses cover a varied syllabus including practical and theory sessions to give a full understanding of the music industry. You will learn how to perform and compose in a variety of genres and styles whilst also developing your performance skills.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above preferably including English and maths, OR a Level 2 qualification in Music at merit or higher, with a satisfactory reference and equivalent English and preferably maths. You should be able to demonstrate a level of proficiency in either playing or singing.
You will be assessed through your performances and written work.
On completion of the course, you can progress to employment in the music industry in areas such as performance, production, recording, composition and media. The course will also enable progression to an undergraduate degree or a degree level programme such as the HND in Music at Tresham University Centre.
Entry is subject to a successful interview and audition.
