Barbering Techniques Level 2 at Trafford College

Course description

The programme consists of 12 sessions of 2 hours each, covering barbering techniques and how to cut men's hair.The programme includes:Cutting hair using barbering techniques; Styling men's hair.

Entry requirements

Students must be over 16 years of age. Students must have attended Intro to Barbering and Intro to Men's Cutting Techniques, or be working towards level 2 Ladies Hairdressing and have achieved Cutting Unit.

Assessment

Assessment is by continual observation of practical skills, and written/oral questions and on-line testing.VRQ 2 Units accreditation in:Cut hair using barbering techniques.

Future opportunities

Successful students may progress onto Level 3. Barbering or Apprentice route.
